Review:

This was a book for the ages. It's starts out as a women is helping her mom clean out her attic and her husband is active duty. Their love seems like it is so amazing, when she finds an old journal that dates back she decides to dive right in. It takes you back in time to Naomi has chosen a suter and her family is not happy. When she marries him and is pregnant they disown her, but she's in love and Arthur treats her life a queen. They don't have everything, but a roof over their head and love. When he goes to war like so many did back then she can't wait to him again, however who she thinks is her husband coming home isn't. It's his best friend and well he will do whatever he can to help Naomi. Luke and Naomi have an attraction for sure, but he knows they can't cross it. This is their story and boy will you fall madly deeply in love with this entire story. The only thing I was bummed about was I wanted to know what the women in the beginning thought when she read her family journal. Still a 5 stars for me. 

  About the Author: Married to the same man for over 25 years, I am a mother to three children and two Miniature Wiener dogs After owning a business and experiencing considerable success, my husband and I got caught in the financial crisis and lost everything; our business, our home, even our car. At this point, I put my B.A. in Poly Sci to use and took work as a waitress and bartender. Unwilling to give up on a professional life, I simultaneously went back to college and obtained a degree in Energy Management. And then the energy market dropped off. And then my dog died. I can only be grateful for this series of unfortunate events, for, with nothing to lose and completely demoralized, I sat down and began to write the romance novels which had until then, existed only my imagination.
