This book was full of twists and turns. When Ryan catches a thief in the process of stealing he never imagined it being the girl who broke into his house and stole the one thing that he wants more than life. His mother jewelry box is a prized possession that holds the secrets he needs. When Alex's life is threaten she goes to the one man she shouldn't Ryan. When they find out they have more in common than cops and robbers things start to change. Alex has been through hell and not just figuratively. She knows the game but her heart is starting to want something else. The past will never be as they move forward to try and protect one another. But can they do that and still be together or will one of their lives and ends? Will he ever find the box with the secrets? Find out.
