Review:

 When the author named this book she nailed it out of the park. This whole series is amazing and one I couldn't put down. Slow burn is exactly that a slow burn of Deva and Laeth and their relationship. Laeth has been through a lot and has always known what he wants and doesn't want. When the past comes back to bite him in the buttocks well his life is about to change. You are either going to love him or hate him. Deva oh my heart broke for her and what she went through, but her spirit shines so brightly in this story. When she is hired to care for Laeth's son these two will get more than they bargained for. They have to navigate the tension and chemistry but also try to save one another without it getting sticky. Fall in love with these two you won't be disappointed. Born and raised around Houston Texas, Jessica spent most of her life complaining about the heat, humidity, and all around pain in the ass weather. It was only as an adult that she quickly realized the cost of living in Houston made up for not being able to breathe when she stepped outside.
