Arranged marriage, enemies to lovers, Mafia/cartel romance
As the only daughter of the Kansas City capo, at eighteen years of age, I was given to the son of my father’s consigliere, a man who was expected to accomplish great things for the famiglia. Things didn’t go the way we planned.
There wasn’t love.
My husband was a traitor, taking part in a coup against the famiglia.
My husband is dead.
I’m free.
Until the fateful night my brother, our new capo, informs me that I’ve once again been promised in marriage. He explains that as a childless widow and the daughter of the late capo dei capi, I am desired—requested.
Aléjandro Roríguez is the son of the leader of the Roríguez cartel. My brother married a woman from the cartel, securing the Mafia/cartel alliance. He says that it’s now my turn.
I’ve only met my future husband a few times, but I know without a doubt that I don’t like him. Loving him is impossible. I’ve lived in a marriage without love. I won’t do it again.
Aléjandro lives a dangerous existence.
Death saved me once before.
Maybe it will again.

TILL DEATH DO US PART is a stand-alone dangerous Mafia/cartel romance in the new “Brutal Vows” series. Each arranged-marriage story is filled with the suspense, intrigue, and heat you’ve come to expect from New York Times bestselling author Aleatha Romig.
Review: Holy crap I thought the first book was good this one is just as good. In book one we heard about the Rodriquez brothers nothing was good with them. Mia has been married to a monster who did unthinkable things that her family has no idea about. When her brother gets married she meets Alejandro the man who gives her goosebumps, but also creepy. After her husband passes she goes into mourning and starts to make plans to finally have her life back. She has dreams of things she was never able to do and she can't wait for the mourning to be done. But her brother has other plans and the bomb he drops makes her dreams go up in smoke, but what's worse is that she is now promised to the one man she can't stand. Alejandro never wanted to take a wife he loves life and knows he's good at it, but when Mia comes into his orbit well he's about to do things for the family. These two will have an uphill battle not just against each other but the families as well. When lives are at stake who will be standing when the dust settles. The hot factors in this book are off the charts.

Over & Out by Claire Wilder is now live! Three months ago, a dirt bike accident stole my confidence, my beloved ride, and the one thing that made me feel alive. Now I'm going through the motions in my coastal tourist town, totally adrift... and trying not to think about the stranger who pulled me from the wreckage. But when I stand up to a super-rude customer at the beach bar I work at, my life suddenly flips upside-down. Because that customer is Hopper Donnach: Hollywood heartthrob, certified a-hole, and horrifyingly, player of a character who helped me through my darkest moments. And now? He's my temporary boss. Hopper's hot-tempered, infuriating, and way too gorgeous for someone who insists on keeping things strictly professional. But under the gruff exterior, I see glimpses of something real. Kindness. Sadness. A secret. I can't fall for my boss, not when he has the power to shatter my already fragile heart into smithereens. Not when this forced proximity...
Title: Denim & Diamonds Authors: Penelope Ward & Vi Keeland Genre: Standalone Contemporary Romance Cover Design: Sommer Stein, Perfect Pear Creative Photographer: Wander Aguiar Photography Model: Lucas Loyola Release Date: July 27, 2025 BLURB When the board of directors of my company mandated that I go to a wellness facility in small-town Maine to recharge, that shouldn’t have included: 1.) Using a ladder to sneak out of the bedroom window at night and going to the local bar. 2.) Getting so drunk that the bar owner brought me upstairs to sleep it off in his bed. 3.) Waking up staring at the taxidermy moose head on said bar owner’s wall. 4.) Falling for said bar owner who was the most drop-dead gorgeous man I’ve ever seen. But Brock Hawkins was so much more than just the hot bar owner. He owned half the town, built log cabins with his bare hands, and was apparently the most eligible man in all of Meadowbrook. He was also a cinnamon roll despi...
Title: Cinder & Secrets Series: Ink & Ashes #2 Author: Melissa Toppen Genre: Contemporary Romance Tropes: Best Friend's Brother/College Romance Release Date: June 27, 2025 BLURB I had a lot of plans for my freshman year of college. Falling for my roommate’s older brother was definitely not one of them. Not like I had a choice in the matter. The second he walked in with that crooked smile and dark green eyes, I was a goner. But River Parker doesn’t exactly make it easy on me. One minute he’s acting like he’s just as interested in me as I am in him, the next he’s detached and indifferent. And to make matters worse, the only person who could give me insight into the man who has completely consumed my every waking thought for months, is the one person he doesn’t want me to tell… His sister—who happens to be one of my closest friends. I’m stuck in this constant push and pull—unsure of where he truly stands—which only serves to complicate things further. Given that he li...
