* Fan Yourself* Get ready for the next series by Lani Lynn Vale because it is a doozy. This book has everything: lust, love, passion, heartache, maybe murder, but for sure some drama. The first time he saw Aella was on the surgical floor of the hospital, and Chevy Clayborne knows he is going to make her his. Aella is shy and is just there to do her job. She has always seen Chevy but thought he was out of her league. Aella and her sister Silver have had it rough because of their mom. And now that she's older, she's just trying to live and stay alive. But when her mom comes back, all bets are about to be off. Because she and Chevy are going to come to blows, and he just might be the one who saves her. I loved how these two interacted not just with each other but with their families. I loved that they took it slow but had each other's backs when needed. Something else, though, when you're reading this, keep in mind that nothing is as it seems. And we may not see the happily ever after we want.
