Nana Malone has hit this story right out of the park. Broken Ties is about Lucia's best friend JJ. She is such a beautiful person and things just keep happening to her. She has a past that no one knows about because she didn't want to share when her best friend was going through the worst time in her life. When we met Jonas he was a wildcard for me I didn't know if I would like him, but his banter and protectiveness over JJ and his friends are beautiful to read. Jonas and JJ have the kind of relationship that will make you laugh when they are going at it. But their attraction and their protectiveness for each other is enduring. When JJ's past comes well Jonas and his team will whatever it takes to protect her. JJ this woman is so strong and if you loved her in Lucia's story you will love her more in hers.
