This book was chilling I could not put it down. If you have read her other books you know how I feel. This one wasn't any different. When the head of the King family is found murdered the chaos is unmistakable. Detective Arabella Matthews is good at her job and would be better if the elder King, Benton would stay out of her way. However when the case starts to unfold so do the lies, secrets, and past of those involved. The problem Benton won't let the Detective do anything alone he wants to be there, no has to be there. These two will collide and no one knows who will come out alive. But I will tell you it will keep you guessing until the end.
