Review:
Well I will have to say this one was a tear jerker and a heart warmer. I loved this entire series but this one, this one got me. Pepper left town to leave Sammy behind hoping he would get over her, hoping he would move on, but what she hadn't realized is he didn't. Pepper can't make anyone happy but she has some massive problems and even if you think it's because of trauma it's not it's something so personal very few people talk about it. When she goes home to Sugartown there are a lot of people that are glad she's there. But when things with her and Sammy steam up again so does her mind and that's when the real trouble starts. This book is written and passion and you will feel it all the way to the end.

Carmen Jenner is a thirty-something, USA TODAY Best Selling Author, doctor, pilot and CIA agent.

She's also a compulsive, flagrant prevaricator who gets to make things up for a living.

While Sugartown may not technically exist, Carmen grew up in a small Australian town just like it, and just like her characters, she always longed for something more. They didn't have an Elijah Cade, though.
