Hail No is full of curiosity of who is doing what and when. Evander has been gone for a long time for a crime he didn't commit (or so he says). When he's back he doesn't expect those he was close to, to be open to him but they are and he couldn't be more grateful. However there are still people who don't believe him and have done stuff to him that he would never think of. He doesn't cave he grows from it and will continue, until one girl steps in his path. He doesn't want anything to do with anyone other than to get his life back together. Kennedy Swallow has been through so much and she never thought she would have a family if that's what you call it. I will say this about her family nope, nope, nope. Kennedy has a heart of gold and when she runs into Evander her sights have been set. Things are not what they seem and these two will not only fight each other, but others around them. Heartache and tears will keep people at bay, but can the strength of one person keep the tears at bay?

Kristie's Review:

This is the first book I have read by this author and I enjoyed the story of Evander and Kennedy. Evander got the wrong end of the stick when he went away for a few years. Now he's back and adjusting to the towns people who feel like he's an outsider. He's over the crap they did while he was away, but now that he is back he will prove to anyone that he is better than what they say. Kennedy is strong will and will never give up on what she wants. When they meet sparks fly and so does the hay.
