Man, this story will pull at your heartstrings. Dakota will do anything to protect her family. When she realizes that her husband is having issues she tries to talk to him, but Benji is on another level and when they lose him it's devastation. She will do whatever she can to protect her children from the truth. However, His hockey team is there to step, which is one thing I loved about this story. Someone else who stepped up was Benji's best friend Christoper. Christoper knew something was wrong, but didn't know the extent until it was too late. He promises to be there for Dakota and her girls and that is exactly what he does whether she wants him there or not. Sometimes things are not always what they seem. And when some of Benji's truth comes to light well it will be a shocker. Christopher, God loved him he was amazing and just wanted to show them that things would be okay. He and Dakota do have an attraction that they try to fight, but the love they grow is too hard to miss. But will the guilt that they carry tear them apart?
