I have been waiting for Baker's story, and it was everything I could have imagined. Baker is the single dad in the group, the one who will do whatever it takes for his son. He is also frustrated with his son's mother and tries to understand why she does what she does. Sloane is adorable in the way all best friends are. She is going through a lot but keeping to herself. She feels she will figure it out, but when Baker gets into a bind, it is Sloane who volunteers to help. Baker is grateful to Sloane, who's been around the whole time and knows what Baker's son needs. As these two move from friends to boss/employee, they begin to notice something different between them. An attraction neither saw coming, but will try to avoid so they don't ruin a good thing. But when tragedy strikes, can Sloane help them survive? I love how these two just got each other and knew what the other needed. I love the love Sloane has for both Baker and his son.
