I love the friendship between Legend and Monroe. They have known each other for years as they have a group of friends. Monroe is the flirt who is sweet as pie and will do anything for those she loves. Legend is the protector who will do what he can to help anyone out. When Legend gets the shock from his deceased grandmother all he wants to do is throw it in the trash, but his loyalty to his parents stops him. Now he needs to pretend to be married to not only help his parents but also his best friends and business partners. He will also do everything he can to help Monore. When Monroe offers to help Legend she knows it's the right thing. These two will navigate their new normal while trying to get to know each other better. One thing the sparks fly with these two. Can something that started off as helping a friend turn into more? I loved this story and how it just drew you in from page one and held you captivated until the end.
