Clay and Pepper have known each other for a while with their mutual friends. Pepper has always given him the cold shoulder. When they go to Paris for their friends they spend one unforgettable night together. Now she's ready to go, but Clay convinces her to stay and spend more time with them. I loved watching them learn from each other and wonder about their needs. Now they are back home Pepper's job is her life so when she goes back to it well Clay shows up to show her that they could be more. This story is about trust and opening up to the person that fate has shown you. I love all Melissa Foster's books and this one just hooked you for the get-go.
