Everly Davis didn't think she would ever go back to Rose, Tennesee where she grew up, but became a place that destroyed her. Someone sent her an invite back to report on the Kiss Lottery in Podcast. She doesn't want to deal with what broke her heart, but that man happens to be in every corner she turns. Beckett Whitfield has been Everly's brother's best friend since they were kids. But he's always had a soft spot for Everly, always looked out for her, and made sure no one messed with her. When Everly drops a bomb on them when they are younger he doesn't believe her and because of that, her life is a living hell. And now that she is back she has to endure the whispers from the town and the dirty looks people give her.
