Review:
 This is the first time I have read this author and it will not be the last. This story was so well written and had you engrossed from page one to page last. Colleen and Finn have a history he's her brother's best friend and their families are friends. When Finn asks Colleen to come to NYC for a week she is hesitant. She misses her chance and then things happen with Finn's family and she never gets the opportunity, but his words have still hurt her. What I love is that Finn and Collen's brother Sean still remained friends after years. Now Finn is back in front of Colleen and the chemistry is there, but so is the hurt. Can he get her to forgive him? Colleen has been through something no one ever should and she chose not to tell anyone. That would be hard on anyone and for Colleen it's double. Now she and Finn are together in the same town and building and Finn is going to show her what it means to be his queen. But can he get Colleen to open up to what happened to her and if so what will happen next. I love this story and it gets you in the feels.

Meet Kate



Kate McBrien writes sexy and witty contemporary romance. She has an MA in art history and has taught art history at a local college. For many years, Kate has worked as a dental hygienist, courageously offering encouragement to her non-flossing patients.

She has always enjoyed writing but became more serious after being encouraged by a friend to participate in National Novel Writing Month. She began writing historical fiction but soon realized that the romance was taking over the history.

Kate is a San Francisco Bay Area native who lives near the beach with her husband and Lola, their spoiled Labrador Retriever. When not writing, she enjoys cooking, music, movies, reading, and fangirling over Jamie Dornan.
