Veronica Sutton thought she knew what she wanted and when she met her fiancé she knew her life wasn't going to be what she wanted, but she felt that she needed to do it. However, when she finds out that he's been stepping out well she's about to blow in a big way. Now she's escaping and needs a job and money. Cherry Tree Harbor seems like the perfect town to settle into until she can get back home and deal with her stuff. When she meets Austin Buckley she doesn't get the warm and fuzzy welcome. Austin has a lot going on running the land, his house, and his kids. He can't hold her back when his sister gets the opportunity to do a dig. Now she's tasked with finding someone to help him out.
