Jacob Arrowood is the last brother to stay at the place none of them wanted to be at. If you have read the other books in this series you know the story. Jacob is home for his time he just wants to get it done and get back to acting. But he's not selfish and I love that about him. He gives back to those that look up to him and when he meets a boy something changes. This kid reminds him of himself when he was little, but it's his mother Brenna that makes his heart beat. Brenna's Navy Pilot husband passes away and she moves to the little town to be closer to his family. Her kids area adjusting and she is trying her best to get up and be the best mom she can be. When she meets the actor her son is obsessed with well her heart rate will take flight. One thing I loved about this story was how her kids were involved and had a voice. They are cute and funny and make sure their mom is taken care of as well. Sparks fly with Jacob and Brenna but they both know he's not there forever. But sometimes love gets in the way. Can they make it work when they both want different yet the same things?
