*fans self* Wow this book was so hot. I loved every word written in this story. Maverick is part of an MC who oversees the strip club that they own. He makes sure that all the money is in order and that no one is there to be jerks. He also hates the place and won't stay there as long as he needs to, but when he hears the music playing and finds out there is a new DJ he will be checking that out. What Maverick doesn't expect is Sohpie and how amazingly beautiful she is. Sophie has been through so much and what's so special about her that she can't really see from an accident that happened to her. When she and Maverick meet it does not spark that fly it's admiration. However, Maverick demons are not slain and these two will have to fight for each other if they want to be together. But will Sophie forgive him for what he has done or will she move on and Maverick will have to live without her? I loved this fast past story of survival and love.


Mila Crawford is a book lover and has been around them one way or another her whole life. She is a fan of happily ever afters, sassy heroines, over the top alphas, and most of all safe reads.
