Synopsis
Kate has been through more than her share of tragedies in her life. After suffering the loss of her mother, daughter, and the love of her life, she’s finally found the strength to open herself up to love again. For once, everything is finally as it should be. Kate should’ve known that things were too good to be true; her life doesn’t work that smoothly.
It’s been four years since Michael left Kate, but he’s back now, and determined to win Kate’s heart once again. After discovering that Daniel and Michael are best friends, the situation spirals out of control quickly. Instead of dealing with her broken heart, Kate ignores it.
When Kate’s actions drive her to do the unthinkable, she knows she’s crossed the line. Unfortunately, she doesn’t realize it until it’s too little, too late. I try and push away from him but he presses me up against the wall with force. Not a harmful force, it’s an erotic force, and I wish it didn’t turn me on so much.
The glimmer I see in his eyes is new, and I have no clue what it means, but he looks ready for a challenge. Whatever the look is, it’s hot and it’s taking all my self-control not to throw my arms around his neck and wrap my legs around his waist for a repeat of what we did last time he had me up against this wall.
“This is going to be a fight, Kate, our first, but most definitely not our last. I fight for what's mine. And you, baby,you're mine. I’ve forgotten how to breathe. That was the hottest thing I’ve ever heard. He told me from the beginning he fights for what he wants. Well peeps we have been taken on a roller-coaster of emotions from the beginning, when it started with Breaking Kate, the first book in the Acceptance Series. Kate and Michael have a history of love together and it didn't end well! Kate and Daniel have a love that makes your heart fly high! But when Kate finds out that Mike & Daniel are best friends she makes the decision that she will not be the person to ruin their friendship. She decides that the three of them can only be friends. Kate also has to tell Mike about the baby girl he never knew he had.
Through out this series, we see how loving two men is ripping her apart and causing her emotions to spiral out of control. Kate has always looked out for others, but at the same time, she realizes that she needs to see for herself...she needs to live for her own life while she can. But after making this decision, Kate spiral out of control and after a lifetime of being the good girl she decides to explore her wild side. And with this decision comes consequences and one night she can't take back. The only problem, only one man will forgive! But don't forget Vanessa is having a baby and the father's identity is still unknown. Will the child be Michael's or will it be Daniel's?
